In collaboration with the CogNovo training program in Cognitive Innovation at Plymouth University, Curiosity co-founder Diego Maranan held a series of workshops exploring how clothing might influence the way people think and feel. Diego asked participants to wear a device on top of their clothing, and perform gentle to moderate movements, as well as typical everyday movements, such as walking, standing, sitting, and lying down. The workshops were held during the mornings and afternoons of Saturday, January the 9th, and Sunday, January the 10th, 2016.

The device was based on a Somatic Costume™ Created by Sally Dean, in collaboration with costume designers Carolina Rieckhof and Sandra Arroniz Lacunza, Somatic Costumes™. are education tools that bring awareness to different body areas as well as generate different movement qualities and experiences in the body-mind. They are intended to a playful resource for instigating new relationships between self, others and the environment. For more information, please visit www.cognovo.eu/project-8.
